Robert just graduated!

Robert
Little Robert is doing fantastic thanks to your donation of Medika Mamba, a ready-to-use therapeutic food for malnourished children. He just finished his six month treatment plan at Chances for Children in Haiti and gained over nine pounds! Robert is now an active, happy, and healthy two-year-old – thanks to your efforts. He is now healthy enough to be placed into an adoption program so he can find a safe home.

Thank you, Peggy, for helping Robert blossom!

Sabrina gets a second chance

Sabrina
Dear Nancy, Yelena, and Venkat,

Sabrina was brought to Chances for Children, a non-profit operating throughout Haiti, as a three-week-old premature baby. Her mother could not nurse her child due to her own poor health and turned to C4C for help. Sabrina has been under the care of C4C professionals for one month now and she is doing well and growing. Thank you, Nancy, Yelena, and Venkat, for enabling C4C to purchase formula and other vitamins for Sabrina to sustain and keep her alive.

Your generosity has given Sabrina a new lease on life!

Taicha is doing great

taicha
Dear Richard,

In just a few months, look at the difference that your donation of Medika Mamba has made in her life. Taicha was found abandoned and severly malnourished. She was also dehydrated and had no muscle tone. Her age was estimated at 2 years and she could not walk or talk. Now look at her. After being on the Medika Mamba program for 4 months she is a walking, talking, acitve, playful, beautiful little girl. Thank you so much for your support, you’ve changed a life.

Woodley completed his Medika Mamba Program

IMG_9131
Dear Venkat, Seema, and Microsoft,

…and look at him now! He is ready to start moving furniture for us. When Woodley was first brought to us he weighed less then 10 pounds and was 2 years old. Thanks to the program and your donation, he is now a healthy, strong, active toddler. He has a mischeivious personality that we never even knew about when he first came to us. Woodley was an abandoned baby and is waiting on his adoption process to be completed. Thank you for helping take care of Woodley.

She is gaining weight and doing better

Sponsor 012
Dear Venkatand Nancy,

Meet Taicha the newest “participant” in our Medika Mamba program. Taicha was brought to us by Social Services in Haiti. She had been abandoned at an open air market and no one knows how long she had been huddled in a blanket by herself. She arrived in very frail health and was suffering from severe malnutrition and dehydration. She has been on the Medika Mamba nutritional program for over a month now. Thank you for helping us take care of Taicha.

Dear Molly, Tom, and Tanu,

Francois just arrived into our care

IMG_0727[1]
Dear Dana,

This little boy was brought to our orphange by his birthmother. She was unable to care for him, due to her declining health and her hope is to move him into our care and find a family for him. He has been strictly on breast milk, but now we must move him to formula to keep him sustained and healthy. Your donation allows us to do this. Thank you so much for making a difference for Francois.

Janier and his Mother need our help

023
Dear Seema, Maya, and Elizabeth,

Janier arrived at our orphange with his mother last week. He is healthy, but his Mom is not. Due to her health issues (she has been diagnosed with HIV) she is unable to breastfeed Janier. Janier shows trace elements of HIV, but if he is nursed with formula instead of breast milk he will most likely flush the disease.

Your donation of formula is critical in keeping him healthy and saving his young life. Janier and his mom are currently living at the orphanage and she is working as much she can as a caregiver. We hope to be able to continue to care for them both until they are able to be on their own. Thank you for your donation.
