Roselure just completed 3 months on the Medika Mamba program thanks to donors like you! Your contribution helped complete her last month and she had her first real meal today. Guess what she picked? A peanut butter and jelly sandwich! We guess she really liked Medika Mamba after all if she isn’t sick of peanut butter after 3 months. Roselure lives at one of our orphanages here in Haiti and will be starting school next year. Thank you for getting her off to a healthy new start.

Nadia is two and half years old and lives with her single mother and three other siblings in a small village in the mountains outside of Port au Prince, Haiti. The family can not afford routine medical care. Through your donation, we were able to send a Registered Nurse to this remote area and Nadia recieved her first complete check up. She was found to have a severe bronchial infection and was able to receive antibiotics right away. She is on the road to health, thanks to your support Kandace!

Jimmy is now under our care as we return him to health. He is on the Medika Mamba program thanks to your gift. Jimmy had been living with his grandmother who had no way to provide him with consistent nutrition. He did not attend school and was wasting away sitting in a dirty hut all day. Jimmy will remain with us until we can get him healthy again. We will also be assisting him to begin his schooling here in Haiti once he is healthy. Thanks to your gift Jimmy is off to a new beginning and we hope to reunite him with his grandmother soon.

Thanks to his new nutrional regime, Eberson is excited, energetic and no longer emaciated.  This picture shows him when he came under our care last month, showing all the typical signs of malnourishment – bloated belly, no muscle tone, dehydrated skin. He is growing and doing well under his new Medika Mamba nutrional plan. Thank you for returning Eberson to health.  Donors like you are truly making a difference for malnourished children in Haiti. Once Eberson is healthy he will enter our adoption program – as he is a true orphan with no living birth parents.

Thanks to you – Louise’s bottle isn’t just filled with water anymore. Your donation has put Louise on a Next Steps Formula aimed to build joint and muscle strength for children her age. Louise is 14 months old and her legs are not yet strong enough for her to stand on. But after a few months of therapy and bone building formula – she will be running the halls!! Thank you for making a difference in Louise’s life. Louise is in our adoption program and already matched with an adoptive family here in Haiti.

Thanks to you, Lucia is growing and healthy in Haiti! We found that the combination worked very well for this sweet little girl. She has her bottle of formula 3-4 times a day and we add a pediasure once a day. She has gained 4 pounds in the last 2 weeks. Thank you for helping Lucia get strong. Lucia comes from a family of 8 children and once her mother was unable to continue to breast feed, she had no choice but to come to us for assistance. Once Lucia is transitioned from formula to table food she will be returning to her family. Thank you for getting her closer to this outcome!

Emmanuel is only two months old and he was found alone in a field by one of our in-country managers here in Haiti. He neeeded clothing, hydration, and care. Thanks to your donation, he is able to recieve infant formula to help strengthen him and get him off to a good start. He is being cared for by our team of nannies and is doing very well. Thank you for your donation to help him grow and survive!

Thank you for your donation which has allowed us to provide a consistent and steady amount of lactose free formula to Lovensky. This baby boy was brought to us by one of our community leaders, because his young mother was very sick and not able to breast feed and had no place to live or no means to support Lovensky. At 2 months of age he weighed just 5 pounds. Look at him now, thanks to your donation of formula he is healthy, happy and growing!!! When he first arrived at our orphanage he had trouble digesting regular formula, we soon learned he was lactose intolerant and had gastro intestinal issues. So with your donation we have been able to purchase special formula for him. Lovensky was recently matched with an adoptive family. Mesi Anpil!

Bernot just started on the Medika Mamba nutrition program thanks to your donation. As you can tell from his picture, he is underdeveloped for his age (18 months), but we can get him healthy and thriving with a 3 month regime of Medika Mamba. Bernot was brought to us by his birthmom who is living in a tent with 10 family members, but does not have the financial means to support her son. She has not been able to provide for Bernot in over 4 months. We are hopeful that her situation will improve as we return Bernot to health.  We couldn’t have done it without your help, thank you!
